I would just like to say how delighted I was to win the cherries jackpot, I just could not believe my eyes when the three gold cherries fell into place. Wow what a shock! I was playing Chip Van Bingo & not really watching, I'd been ill all day, so when I looked down and saw the 3 Golden Cherries I couldn't believe it, I had to look again to make sure I hadn't imagined it. I'm taking my 9yr old son for his 1st ever holiday, we are just going to the seaside, but my older son, his partner and my 3yr old grand daughter are coming too so we are really looking forward to it. Without this win it would have been a real struggle. I lost my Husband of 28years in Sept 09 and have been feeling really down and not chatting much but I'd like to thank all the Villagers & Hosts for their support they've given me. Thank you so so much for your e-mail. I wasn't able to stop up and watch the game so your note was the first time I realised I had won! I was so excited and couldn't wait to get into my account and check my balance to see if it was real! I'm still shaking now and still can't quite believe it! I enter lots of the super games, but never expect to win, but this one was different. My mum passed away on 5th November last year, so when I saw the super game was on the same date, I bought my tickets and said, "Come on mum, give me some good luck!" And bless her, she did! I was absolutely stunned to see my name as one of the Top of the Month winners, I was shaking so much even my teeth were chattering lol.  Most of the winnings will be spent on Christmas celebrations.  I am going to Rhodes in May with my daughters and one of my friends to celebrate my 50th birthday so the remainder of my winnings will be my spending money.  Thank you! poorstudent  

I would like to say a huge thank you to GameVillage for my win.  I see quotes like these all over but never thought that it would be myself writing one.  When I saw that I had won Top of the Month Game and that my balance was so high I could not believe my eyes.  It still didn't sink in the following day for a long while.  I have definitely got my eye on a new TV and see what follows after that.  I would definitely say to those who are skeptical, keep trying as one day it will be your turn and you will change your views then!! lucanda

I was really made up to win share in the top of the week game as we have been wanting to redecorate the house. Thank you so much for my Name that Tune win. I couldn’t believe the way Mark held out on announcing my guess I was on tender hooks and had my mum on the phone; I was screaming at my pc! When I found out my guess was right I was ecstatic!! I couldn't believe it, I love music and everything about it and "Name That Tune" is right up my street. I would just like to say how shocked and happy I was with finding out that I had won the Refer a Friend prize draw.  I was even more shocked when I checked how much I had won. You have no idea how much difference this will make to my life at the moment. My youngest son who is 19 was recently diagnosed with Hodgkin’s Lymphoma, and has just started chemotherapy.  The constant visits to and from hospital, have put a lot of stress on my son and I, because of all the travel costs, and worry about his health. I cannot begin to tell you how happy I am with the win. It took me 20 minutes & a brandy to stop shaking when the winning number 11 was called. Right now I am getting ready to sell my house & get somewhere smaller before a move to sunnier climes so the win will be very useful indeed. I was in and out of lounge watching Eastenders and Coronation Street so wasn't watching games playing.  I popped back out to my computer and had to do not only a double but a triple look at my balance! I called my family out to look and they all started to decide how we should spend it! Hubby wants me to buy new underwear (he has a bit of a thing for undies!), one son wants clothes, the other wants his housekeeping back!  Our daughter will add her thoughts when I speak to her later! As soon as it clears into my bank account I will be booking flights to Lanzarote for a winter holiday to brighten up the cold days ahead! So when we jet off to the sun I will be thinking of GV and being glad I spent 75p on that game! bigbucks

I was actually in the room at the time and when I got to 1tg so quick I never thought anything of it and when it came out I had to keep looking at my balance and could not believe it. We have found a quick and simple but special recipe for a yummy Valentines Day treat.

Ingredients:

4 shop-bought meringues

For the filling and garnish:

4 passion fruits
100ml/3½fl oz well-chilled heavy cream
1½ tsp sugar
1 small pomegranate (optional)

Method:

1. For the filling, cut three passion fruits in half and scoop out the pulp (including the seeds and juice) into a sieve set over a bowl.
2. Force the pulp through the sieve, pressing hard on the seeds, and discard the seeds.
3. In a bowl, beat the cream until it holds soft peaks and fold in the passion fruit juice and sugar until just combined.
4. To make the garnish, cut the remaining passion fruit in half and scoop out the seeds, reserving them.
5. Cut the pomegranate in half then, bending back the rinds, dislodge some seeds from the membranes.
6. Reserve these and reserve some juice.
7. Arrange a meringue on each of two plates.
8. Top the meringues with whipped cream and garnish with some reserved passion fruit and pomegranate seeds.
9. Top each pudding with one more meringue.
10. These can be made two hours ahead and chilled, loosely covered. Bring them to room temperature before serving.
11. Once ready to eat, garnish each plate with some more passion fruit, some pomegranate seeds and some reserved juice.

Serve and enjoy!
